Here’s Elliot doing his very smiley thing in the studio last week. I shot some amazing soft, natural light images of him using my newest backdrop (totally in love with it by the way!) that I imported from the USA.
I love the colour combo’s and the way the blue of Elliot’s eyes and jeans really gives the images punch.
Natural light is wonderful! And is much, much less invasive to children and babies. Imagine you’re just learning about the world – Mum and dad take you to a big scary room with a stranger in – lights keep flashing and beeping – … You get the picture! Using natural light means I can connect with these little ones without introducing too many new experiences all at once.
This is also a new adventure for me having decided to bring my outdoor location photography skills inside and begin using natural light from the studio window to capture images with depth, dimension and a ‘soul’ that only natural light can.
We sat with a cup of tea and chose nine stunning expressions and poses of Elliot for a multi-frame in oak with a double mount in an off white. This is only a screen grab from the design software but I can’t wait to make the real thing!
Our software lets you get as close to the real finished article as possible in terms of size, treatment and finish. This is really helpful when visualising what your artwork will become before you put your order in. I am here to help and always do my ‘viewing’ sessions and editing myself so I can give genuine advice as to what will look best.
I’ve had lots of lovely facebook comments on Elliot’s pictures, as well as a fab time working with his family. Elliot is taking part in our ‘baby club’ offer through Emma’s Diary. We are proud to be the studio locally working in association with Emma’s diary to bring fabulous high quality photography to families in our area.
